find the value of x if : ( 2x + 3 ):( 5x - 38) is the duplicate ratio of root 5 : root 6.

since (2x+3)/(5x+38)=5/6

cross multiply them you'll get an equation. solve that you'll get the answer

2x+3/5x-38=5/6

12x+18=25x-190

18+190=25x-12x

208=13x

X=208/13=6

Ans is x=6.
