Then

 \sf{⇛ \frac{3}{7}  =  \frac{x}{42} } \\

\sf{⇛ 3 \times 42 = 7 \times x}

 \sf{➨ \: x =  \frac{3 \times 42}{7} } \\

\sf{➨ \: x =  \frac{126}{7} } \\

 \bf{➲ \: x = 18}

Therefore
