3y = x+15 ( angles on transversal)

x+15 = 2y+25 ( opposite angles)

so, 3y = 2y+25

3y - 2y = 25

y = 25

therefore, 3y = 25 × 3 = 75

and x + 15 = 75 ( from the first equation)

x = 75 -15

x = 60°
