To find : value of $x$ .

Given equation : $2x + 2x + 24 = 192$

Solution :  

• To find the value of $x$ we perform addition operation of like terms .
• Then we leave the variable term at LHS and take constants at RHS.
• finally after dividing   we find the value of $x$.

           $2x + 2x + 24 = 192 \\4x = 192 -24 \\x = \frac{168}{4}$  

          $x = 42$

Hence the value of $x$ is $42$.
