Find the value of x if the arithmetic mean of 3, 5, 6, 2,
10 and x is 5.​

Answer:

 \frac{3 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 10 + x}{6}  = 5

26 + x = 30

x = 4

Do you mean this?

mean = 5 = (3 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 10 + x)

30 = 26 + x

x = 30 - 26 = 4

The value for x is 4.
