Find the value of x if x-2(x-1 )=1-(x-2)3

Hi ,

x - 2( x - 1 ) = 1 - ( x - 2 )3

=> x - 2x + 2 = 1 - 3x + 6

=> x - 2x + 3x = 1 + 6 - 2

=>2x = 5

x = 5/2
