As we know that the the sum of all angle of a triangle is 180°----------1)

so,, let a ∆ABC

in which <A=50°

<B=70°

<C=?

so,,,, according to 1)

<A+<B+<C=180°

50°+70°+<C=180°

<C=60°-------2

now , naming the exterior point as D then
as you know that the line BCD is a straight line so linear pair =180°-----3)

now,<ACD+<C=180°

=)<ACD=180-60°. 【from 2equation】

=)<ACD=120°
