Find the value of x in
(-17)*[(-5)+X]=(-17)*(-5)-(-17)*4

Your answer is :-

( -17 ) × { ( -5 ) + x } = ( -17 ) × ( -5 ) - ( -17 ) × 4

85 - 17x = 17 × 5 + 17 × 4

85 - 17x = 17 × ( 5 + 4 )

85 - 17x = 17 × 9

85 - 17x = 153

-17x = 153 - 85

-17x = 68

 x = \frac{68}{-17}

x = - 4 ( Ans )
