They will be equal and the equation will goes like this :

2x+30°= 3x-20°

2x-3x= -30-20

-1x = -50 (Minus minus cancel Hence),

In (ii) they are forming linear equation so their sum. wil be equal to 180° Hence

3x-10°+2x-20°=180°

5x-30=180°

5x=180+30

5x=210 And hence
