Q → Find the value of x in each of the diagram. (Refer the attachment)

(i) Exterior Angle is 105°

\sf ⇝a = 180° - 105° = 75° (Exterior Angle Property)

We know that,

Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°.

So,

 \sf →x + 2x + a = 180°

 \sf →3x + 75° = 180°

 \sf →3x = 180° - 75°

 \sf →3x = 105°

\sf →x = \frac{105}{3} = 35°

Now,

  • x = 35°
  • 2x = 2 × 35 = 70°

(ii) Exterior Angle is 125°

\sf ⇝b = 180° - 125° = 55° (Exterior Angle Property)

We know that,

Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°.

So,

 \sf →3x + 2x + b = 180°

 \sf →5x + 55° = 180°

 \sf →5x = 180° - 55°

 \sf →5x = 125°

\sf →x = \frac{125}{5} = 25°

Now,

  • 2x = 2 × 25 = 50°
  • 3x = 3 × 25 = 75°

(iii) Angles given are 60°, 50° and x.

We know that,

Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°.

So,

 \sf →60° + 50° + x = 180°

 \sf →110° + x = 180°

 \sf →x = 180° - 110°

 \sf →x = 70°

Hence, x is equal to 70°.
