it means 1.6/x = 0.12/0.24
=>1.6/x = 1/2
=> x =3.2
is the answer...

\dfrac{\sf 1.6}{\sf x} = \dfrac{\sf 0.12}{\sf 0.24}

\dfrac{\sf 1.6}{\sf x} = \dfrac{\sf 1}{\sf 2}

⇒ x = 2 × 1.6 ⇒ \boxed{\sf x = 3.2}
