Answer:

a) In ∆ABC,

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180°

100° + 40° + 2x° = 180°

140° + 2x° = 180°

2x° = 180° - 140°

2x° = 40°

x° = 40 ÷ 2

x° = 20°

So,

The value of Angle C = 2x°

= 2 × 20°

= 40°
