triangles ace and bcd are congruent by AAA.

.

in triangles ace and bcd,

angle eac = angle dbc= 50 degrees

angle aec= angle bdc= 130 degrees - angle C

angle ace = angle bcd= angle C common angle

.

hence by the property of congruency,

ae/bd= ac/bc

but ac=ab+bc= b+c

.

thus,

a/x= (b+c)/c

.

cross multiplying,

x= ac/ (b+c).
