hey your answer is :-

3x + 42 + 90 = 180 (LPA)

3x + 132 = 180

3x = 180 - 132

x = 48 / 3

x = 16

(3x + 42)° = 90°

=> Complementary angle...

mark as brain list and thanks my all answer....

Answer:

\huge{\boxed{\rm{\red{x=16°}}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given figure,

3x+42 and 90° are linear pair.

therefore, 3x+42+90°=180°

=>3x+42=180°-90°

=>3x+42=90°

=>3x=90°-42°

=>3x=48°

=>x=48°/3

=>x=16°

They are adjacent angles with common vertex they are linear pair

They are complementary angles.

They are not complementary angles because their sum gives 180°
