• In the first case all the number around 18 are the square of 3,4,5,6 and the sum of all these numbers are 18 which is in the middle .

• In the second case all the number around 18 are the square of 1,4,5,8 and the sum all these numbers are 18 which is in the middle.
• In the third case there is only three numbers around 18 and they are the square of 1,3,8 .so we have to find the value of X . so from the first and second case we find that sum of the square of the number around 18 is 18.

• so x= 18 - 1+3+8 = 18 - 12 = 6
• so square of 6 = 36
• so value of X= 36
