∠BOC = x + 15

∠AOB + ∠BOC = 180⁰ ( Angles linear pair )

x/5 - 27 + x + 15 = 180⁰

Multiplying throughout by 5,

x/5 × 5 - 27 × 5 + x × 5 + 15 × 5 = 180 × 5

x - 135 + 5x + 75 = 900

x + 5x - 135 + 75 = 900

6x - 60 = 900

6x = 900 + 60

6x = 960

x = 960/6

x = 160
