As far as I know, the lines DC and EA are parallel and if you see, they make the shape of letter F with line ED, so angle D = angle E =90 degrees

Now we know that angle EDC = 90,

If you look again, you will see that the DE is parallel with a small line that is CB, and their common line is DC, so they make a shape like letter U, when you see letter U, you will find two angles inside(interior angles) and their sum should be 180, in our case here we have EDC and DCB, EDC = 90, to find DCB(or C) subtract EDC from 180

180-90=90degrees, DCB equals 90degree

Now, we know from the diagram that the sum of x and DCB(or C) should be 180 degree, so x=180-90=90.
