We have :-

2x + 3 = 3x - 15

this is because of the property of parallelogram that its opposite sides are equal as well as parallel.

\rule{200}{2}

Hence,

2x + 3 = 3x - 15 \\  \\3x - 2x = 15 + 3 \\  \\  \\x = 18

Hence,

X is equal to 18.

\rule{200}{2}

The side of the parallelogram will be

= 2x + 3 \\ \\= 2(18) + 3 \\  \\  \\= 36 + 3 \\ \\ \\= 39
