We have to find (x-y)-(y-x)

where x= ⅔

and y =5/9

So we know that commutativity property doesn't hold substraction to prove -

(2/3- 5/9)

LCM of 3 and 9 is 9

So

4-5/9= -1/9

Now ,

(y-x)

=> 5/9 - 2/3

= 5-4/9

= 1/9

Hence it is proved they are not equal
