Here is your answer....

x = 50 + 60 (Exterior angle property)

= 110

y + 50 + 60 = 180 ( Angle sum property)

y = 180 - 110

y = 70

Answer:

Since we know that exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of its interior opposite angles, i.e.,

Angle x = 50° + 60°

=> Angle x = 110°

According to the angle sum property of triangle

Angle y + 50° + 60° = 180°

=> Angle y + 110° = 180°

=> Angle y = 180° - 110°

= 70°

Now,

What is exterior angle property of a triangle?

According to the exterior angle property of a triangle, exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of its interior opposite angles. (Refer to the attachment).

What is angle sum property of a triangle?
