Step-by-step explanation:

we can find x by hypotenuse formula

(h)² = (a)² + (b)²

so for 1st triangle

after inserting the values we got,

(10)² = (6)² + (b)²

100 = 36 +

= 100 - 36

= 64

b = 64 = 8

and for 2nd triangle

after inserting the values we got,

(6.5)² = (6)² +

42.25 = 36 + b

= 36 - 42.25

= 6.25

b = 6.25 = 2.5

now , add the base of both triangle = 8 + 2.5 = 10.5

so value of x is 10.5 cm

hope this answer helps you dear!

Answer:

to find the length of the x.

here what you need to do.

Use Pythagoras formula.

as one angle is 90° so we will use this formula

A ^2 + B ^2 = C ^ 2

First we take the left triangle.

let the side measure 6 be A

and side with X measure be B

so the side 6.5 will be come hypothesis C.

then

putting in the formula.

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

6^2 + B^2 = 6.5^2

36. + B^2 = 42.25

B^2. = 42.5 - 36

B^2 = 6.25

B = √6.25. taking exponent 2 to RHS. so it becomes root.

B = 2.5

Therefore B = 2.5 of LHS triangle.

LHS X = 2.5

Now of the RHS triangle

Same procedure.

same formula.

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

Here a is 6 , c is 10 and b is X.

36 + B^2 = 100

B^2 = 100-36

B^2 = 64 taking exponent 2 to RHS. so it becomes root.

B = 8

therefore B = 8 of RHS triangle

RHS X = 8

A/q I have found two parts of X.

LHS X and RHS X.

So to get X.

LHs X + RHs X = X

2.5 + 8 = X

10.5 = X.

SO YOUR ANSWER IS 10.5.

THANKS.
