Given :-

  • ∠BOC = 60°.

To Find :-

  • The value of x.

Solution :-

As, AOC is a line

⇛ ∠BOC + ∠AOB = 180°

⇛ 60° + ∠AOB = 180°

⇛ ∠AOB = 180° - 60°

⇛ ∠AOB = 120°.

In triangle AOB

OA = OB (Radius of same circle)

⇛ ∠ABO = ∠OAB = x. (Angle opposite to equal sides are also equal)

In triangle OAB,

We know, sum of angles of a triangle is 180°.

Therefore, ∠OAB + ∠OBA + ∠AOB = 180°

⇛ x + x + 120° = 180°

⇛ 2X = 180° - 120°

⇛ 2X = 60°

⇛ x = 30°.
