Solution :-

  • Since lines m and n are parallel and line l is transversal, we have, 3y° = (2y + 25)°                                                             [Alternate interior angles]

Now,

3y° = (2y + 25)°

→3y° = 2y° + 25°

→y° = 25°

Also,

  • 3y° = (x + 20)°                                                          [Corresponding angles]

Now,

3y° = (x + 20)°

→3y° = x° + 20°

→3(25°) = x° + 20°

→75° = x° + 20°

→x° = 75° - 20°

→x° = 55°

→x = 55

Answer→ x = 55
