Given :

(5x + 1) (x + 3) -8 = -5(x + 1) (x +2)

To find :

Value of x

Solution :

⇛ (5x + 1) (x + 3) -8 = -5(x + 1) (x +2)

⇛ (5x² + 15x + x + 3) -8 = -5(x² + 2x + x + 2)

⇛ 5x² + 16x + 3 - 8 = -5(x² + 3x + 2)

⇛ 5x²+ 16x - 5 = -5x² + 15x +10

⇛ 16x - 15x = -15

x = -15

Correct Expression :-

\sf{(5x + 1)(x + 3) - 8 =  5(x + 1)(x + 2)}

How To Solve?

Multiply the Numbers and then add or Subtract them.

To Find :-

The Value Of x.

Solution :-

\small\sf{5 {x}^{2} + 15x + x + 3 - 8 =  5( {x}^{2}  + 3x + 2)}

Add the Terms On L.H.S. and Multiply the terms on R.H.S.

\sf{ {5x}^{2}  + 16x - 5 =  5 {x}^{2} + 15x + 10 }

Use Transposition.

\sf{ 5 {x}^{2}  - 5 {x}^{2}  + 16x - 15x = 10 + 5}

Add or Subtract them.

\underline{\boxed{\bf\red{x = 15}}}

Hence, Value Of x = 15.
