Find the value of x when x is an mean proportional between :- (i) x-2 and x+6 , (ii) 2 and 32.

(i) X^2=(X-2)(X+6)

=)X^2=X^2+6X-2X-12

=)0=4X-12

=)12=4X

=)X=3

(ii) X^2=32*2

=)X=√64

=)X=8
