We have, √(x² - 36) = 8
Now, squaring on both sides, we get:

   (x² - 36)² = 8²
⇒ x² - 36 = 64
Now, adding 36 on both sides, we get:

    x² - 36 + 36 = 64 + 36
⇒ x² = 100
Now, applying root on both sides, we get:

   √x² = √100
⇒ x = ⁺₋100
⇒ x = +10 or -10

Therefore, the value of x is either +10 or -10.

Given that,

√(x²-36) = 8,

Now , Squaring on both the sides

=> x² - 36 = 64,

=> Adding 36 on both sides

=> x² = 100, Applying root on both sides,

=> x = +10 or - 10,

Therefore the value of x is either +10 or - 10,

Hope you understand, Have a great day !
