At first x = y because those are vertically opposite angles so we can tell that

x = y ..............................(1)

Next if you look is closely and the triangle all the angles marked as x are vertically opposite to the interior angles of the triangle from this we can tell that

The value of each interior angle of the triangle is = x ........................(2)

From equation (1) & (2)

We can tell that value of each interior triangle are same because they are equal to y.

According to angle sum property of a triangle the sum of all angles of a triangle is equal to 180⁰

Now if we come to our triangle,

y + y + y = 180°

⇒ 3y      = 180°

⇒ y        =  (\frac{180}{3} )

⇒ y        =   60°

Now substituting the value of y in Equation(1)

x = y = 60°
