find the value of x + Y and x -y if 3 x + 4 Y = 11 and 4 x + 3 Y = 10​

Answer:

3 x + 4 y = 11---------------------1

4 x + 3 y = 10-------------------2​

equation 1 x 4 we get,

12x +16y=44--------------------------3

equation 2 x 3 we get,

12x+9y=30---------------------------4

equation 3-4 we get,

7y=14

y=2

substituting in equation 2

4x=10-3(2)

4x=4

x=1

therefore x+y=2+1=3

and x-y=2-1=1
