Find the value of x-y and y-x for x=2/3, y=5/ 9. Are they equal?​

x = \frac{2}{3}  , y = \frac{5}{9}

x - y = \frac{2}{3} - \frac{5}{9} \\=> \frac{(6-5)}{9} \\=> \frac{1}{9}

y - x = \frac{5}{9} - \frac{2}{3} \\=> \frac{(5 - 6)}{9} \\=> -\frac{1}{9}

So x-y ≠ y-x

Hence, subtraction does not follow commutative Property
