since we know that the angle of a straight line is equal to 180°,and two angles are given , (i.e. 52° and 27°)

Therefore,

x=180°-(52°+27°)

or, x= 180°-79°

or, x=101°

Now, we know that the length of the vertically opposite angles are equal,

Here, angle 52° and angle z are vertically opposite angles,

Therefore,

z=52°

Therefore,

y= 180°-52°

or, y= 128°.
