Find the value of x-y andy-x for x=2/3, y=5/9. Are they equal

X = 2/3 and Y = 5/9






X - Y = 2/3 - 5/9





=> 2 × 3 - 5 × 1 / 9


=> 6 - 5/9



=> 1/9




And,




Y - X = 5/9 - 2/3






=> 5-6/9


=> -1/9




Hence,




X - Y # Y - X [ Where # stand for not equal ]

Y-X=5/9-2/3
