Find the value of (x - y) for the following simultaneous equations:
3x - 2y = 3 and 2x - 3y = 12
without graph​

Answer

(3x-2y)-(2x+y)=3-16

3x-2y-2x-y=-13

x-3y=-13

x=-13+3y

put value of x in any equation

3x-2y=3

3(-13+3y)-2y=3

-39+9y-2y=3

7y=42

y=6

x=-13+3×6

x=-13+18

x=5.
