Find the value of x+y if 5^x-3×3^2y-7=675

5^(x -3) x 3^(2y -7) = 675
675 = 3x3x3 x 5 x 5

⇒ 5^(x-3) x 3^(2y-7) = 5^2 x 3^3

⇒x-3 = 2 ⇒ x= 5  ,   2y-7 = 3 ⇒ 2y = 10 ⇒ y = 5
