=8×10

=80°

z=10×10

=100°

Solution :-

Here, by observing the given figure ,

  • Two pair of adjacent angles = ( 10x , 8x ) , ( y , z )
  • Two pair of opposite angles ( 10x , z ) , ( y , z )

We need to find ,

  • x = ?
  • y = ?
  • z = ?

Here , firstly finding angles x , y , z using properties of parallelogram .

Property of finding x :-

  • Sum of adjacent sides of a parallelogram = 180°.

Property of finding y :-

  • Opposite angles of a parallelogram are always equal .

Property of finding z :-

  • Sum of adjacent sides of a parallelogram are always equal .

Finding x :-

By using the given property ,

→ 10x + 8x = 180°

→ 18x = 180°

→ x = 180° / 18°

x = 10°

Finding y :-

By using the given property ,

→ 8x = y

Substituting x = 10°

→ 8 ( 10° ) = y

y = 80°

Finding z :-

By using the given property

→ y + z = 180°

Substituting y = 80°

80° + z = 180°

→ z = 180° - 80°

z = 100°

Hence ,

  • x = 10°
  • y = 80°
  • z = 100°
