find the value of x³+y³,if x+y=3 and xy=4

Hey mate Here is your answer.

(x+y)^3=x^3+y^3+3xy(x+y)

3^3=x^3+y^3+3×4(3)

27=x^3+y^3+36

27-36=x^3+y^3

= -9

=>x^3+y^3= x^3+y^3+3xy(X+y)
=>3^3= x^3+y^3+3.4.3
=>27=x^3+y^3+36
=>27-36=x^3+y^3
=> -9=x^3+y^3
