Find the value of x³+y³ when x+y=-5 and xy=8

(x+y)^3=x^3+y^4+3xy(×+y)

putting the given value

(-5)^3=x^3+y^3+3×8(-5)

-125=x^3+y^3-120

-125+120=x^3+y^3

-5=x^3+y^3
