  • Angle x and Angle 60° are opposite angles.

And we know that opposite angles are always equal.

So, Angle x = 60°

Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180° by angle sum property.

∴ y + x + 30° = 180°

→y + 60° + 30° = 180°

→y + 90° = 180°

Angle y = 90°
