The angle between 5y and 2y is 5y (vertically opposite angles)

5y + 5y + 2y = 180 (angles in a
straight line)
12y = 180
y = 180 ÷ 12
y = 15

Hope you get it .....

Y = 15 degrees

GIVEN: Angle AOP=5y angle QOD=2y and angle BOC=5y
TO FIND: Value of y
SOLUTION:

As we are given,

Angle AOP=5y

Angle QOD=2y

Angle BOC=5y

Also,

We see,

Angle AOD = Angle BOC = 5y

( Vertically Opposite Angles)

Also,

Angle AOP + Angle AOD + Angle QOD = 180 degrees

( Linear Pair )

5y + 5y + 2y = 180

12y = 180

y = 15 degrees
