The correct answer is 106°.

Given: P and Q are parallel.

To Find: The value of y.

Solution:

As 3x - 38 and 2x + 10 are corresponding angles. So these both will be equal.

3x - 38 = 2x + 10

x = 48°

2x + 10 = 2(48) + 10 = 106°

As 2x + 10 and y are alternate interior angles. So, they both will be equal.

2x + 10 = y

y = 106°

Hence, the value of y is 106°.
