distance between two points=√(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2

here,x1=2,y1=-2

X2=-1,y2=y

distance=5

by applying formula,

5=√(-1-2)^2+(y+2)^2

25=9+y^2+4+4y

y^2+4y-12=0

by solving quadratic equation,

y=2,-6
