3y  + 5 - (3y - 1) = 57y + 1 - (3y + 5)

3y + 5 - 3y + 1 = 57y + 1 - 3y - 5

6 = 54y - 4

54y = 6 + 4 = 10

y = 10  \div 54

y = 0.148
