AB||CD (Opposite sides of Rhombus are parallel)

ang CAB = ang DCA (Alternate interior angles)

Given, ang CAB = 40°

So, ang CAB = ang DCA = 40°

ang CDB + ang DCA = ang COB (Exterior Angle property)

x + 40° = y (ang CDB = x, ang DCA = 40°, ang COB = y)

40° = y-x

Hence, 40° is the answer.
