Find the values of a for which the roots of the equation
(2a-5)x -2(a-1)x+3=0are equal.

( - 2a + 2) {}^{2}  - 4 \times (2a - 5) \times 3 = 0

4 {a}^{2}  - 8a + 4 - 24a + 60 = 0

4 {a}^{2}  - 32a + 64 = 0

 {a}^{2}  - 8a + 16 = 0

(a - 4) {}^{2}  = 0

a = 4 \:  \: ans.
