Hey there !

_________________

2x^2 + Kx + 3 = 0

Where,

a = 2

b = k

c = 3

[ According to ax^2 + bx + c , we just compared equation with this ]

We know, that equation has two equal roots, that means,

D = 0

We know,

D = b^2 - 4ac = 0

Keeping the values in it,

(k)^2 - 4 × 2 × 3 = 0

k^2 - 24 = 0

k^2 = 24

k = (±) √24
