Here's your answer

If roots are equal then the Discriminant is equal to 0

Eqn.: 9x² - 3kx + k = 0

a = 9
b = -3k
c = k

Discriminant = b² - 4ac
Since the roots are equal, b² - 4ac  is = 0

(-3k)² - 4 * 9 * k = 0
9k² - 36k = 0
9k ( k - 4 ) = 0

9k = 0 , k - 4 = 0
So k = 0 and 4

Hope it helps!!
Cheers!!
