1 - kx - 8y = k+2
2- 6x - 3ky= 9

the given pair of equations have infinitly many solutions

kx - 8y = k+2

6x - 3ky = 9

a1 = k. b1 = -8. c1 = k+2

a2 = 6. b2 = -3k. c2 = 9

a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

k/6 = -8/-3

k = -8 × 6 /-3

k= -48/-3

k = 16
