Answer:

If X = 2

3x² - 2mx + 2n = 0

3(2)² - 2×m×2 + 2n = 0

12 - 4m + 2n = 0

-(4m - 2n) = -12

4m - 2n = 12 (i)

If X = -3

3x² - 2mx + 2n = 0

3(-3)² - 2m(-3) + 2n = 0

27 + 6m + 2n = 0

6m + 2n = - 27 (ii)

Adding Equation (i) & (ii), we get

4m + 6m = 12 + (-27)

10m = -15

m = -3/2.

Putting m = -3/2 in Eq. (i),

4(-3/2) - 2n = 12

-6 - 2n = 12

-2n = 12 + 6

n = -9.
