Answer:

P(1)=7

P(-2)=-14

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

polynomial P(x) = 4x3+ 3x2-2x + 2 .

To find:-

Find the values of polynomial

P(x) = 4x3+ 3x2-2x + 2 at p(1) & p(-2).

Solution:-.

Given cubic polynomial is

P(x)=4x³+3x²-2x+2

1)put x=1 then

=>P(1)=4(1)³+3(1)²-2(1)+2

=>P(1)=4+3-2+2

=>P(1)=7

The value of P(1)=7

2) put x=-2 then

=> P(-2)=4(-2)³+3(-2)²-2(-2)+2

=>P(-2)=4(-8)+3(4)+4+2

=>P(-2)=-32+12+4+2

=>P(-2)=-32+18

=>P(-2)=-14

The value of P(-2)= -14
