Given :  a=62,b=7

[ii]a=86,b=9

To Find :  values of q and r

Solution:

Euclid division lemma a=bq+r

a= Dividend,

b= Divisor,

q= quotient

r = remainder

0 ≤ r < b

a  = 62

b = 7

62 = 7 * 8  +  6

q = 8

r  = 6

a = 86

b = 9

86 = 9 * 9 + 5

q = 9

r = 5
