  • First apply the formula of angles in a straight line =180
  • As we can see 40° and y are lying in the same line so now we will subtract 40 from 180 to find y
  • 180°- 40°=140°
  • Y = 140°
  • Now y and z also are in the same line so we will apply the same formula again
  • as y = 140 so now we will subtract 140 from 180
  • 180° - 140° = 40°
  • so z = 40°
  • Now we know all the angles exept x
  • So now to find x
  • we will apply another formula
  • Sum of all angles = 360°
  • So we need to add all angles exept x and then subtract it by 360°
  • 40+25+40+140 = 245
  • now subtract 360 - 245 = 115
  • So x = 115°
